The entire 119th chapter of the book of Psalms is a brilliantly crafted, alphabetically acrostic (poetic) work of art. It is divided into twenty-two stanzas. Within each stanza lies eight couplets or phrases. Each of the eight phrases in the first chapter begins with the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet: aleph. Each of the eight phrases in the second chapter starts with the second Hebrew letter: beth. This pattern continues until the end of the passage and the end of the Hebrew alphabet.
